As someone who desires to have a career in writing—perhaps, why you maybe here—or maybe just curious or considering the subject, or wants to learn beyond one’s present style in working on contents to write, learning the craft and way (even greater, as a way of life) of how to one gets a writing done and see the light of day is a lot of times a thoroughly extraordinary process for those who’re deeply committed into the undertaking. And for readers not engaged in the field of writing, this is desires to give perspective on and appreciation of some writer’s point of view on methods of incremental, development process in making content.
This document is meant to cater for specifically to Persons With Disability on education concerning competition in the writing industry, as promised in Portal predicated upon the Core Ethical Philosophies that serve as Constitution for creating publications op-ed and educational media platforms under the UV-Rays* Publication Infrastructure Platform where this content is associated to.
quote goes here.
Some writers’ process of finishing a literary work behind the scenes may be more technical than others. Writers have different—sometimes peculiar—styles in engaging in the undertaking. Writing where what one may only be doing is like writing an essay due to many months or years of constantly having exposure on or active thinking process about a subject is among the easiest undertaking where words come out with ease to transmit the experience, though in starting an experience may be characteristic with having difficulties of comprehending with a circumstance that would need expression to propagate awareness or understanding as regards what one may be going through or undertaking. This is also most especially the case with things or experiences that are already common knowledge; almost everybody can write them like how people maybe just dabbing posting of thoughts or views on in social media, especially with ease when with constant practice, like regularly thinking what extraordinary or differing short content to post on a page.
But for a multi-professional type of writing or writing that covers differing subsets of interests or fields that are not that directly allied to or associated with one another, here is a recommended set of techniques I use in writing, suitable for both beginner and advanced learning, and may be applied as well for improving one’s own writing methods.
Of course not all contents you may see were cast on the same intellectual process that result to an intellectual creation, or for fun. Neither does any single set of methods to produce a literary work are applicable to every need to yield editorial work. But here will be how I approach the endeavor, especially to deal with the need to yield most of my compositions and/or accomplish the results that I desire to work on.
ACT OF CURIOSITY’S ROLE IN THE WRITING PROCESS
Save in cases when one is in just some respectable ritual of doing some “training” or practice, we do not just write nnnn as a mere obligation, one has gotta have ideas on something to have something to write about, and not just ordinary statements but that which has breadth widened by when kind of views one has does broaden a thought that being posted as a comment isn’t enough to give justice to such perspective (that is, standalone and not just an attachment to another’s nnnn) but deserve it’s own article or journal to be expressed without shortcomings from yielding workable enough to deliver that will provide at least the basic set of information or knowledge and context to be understood, and not misunderstood—when such is prone to such than—just in comment.
When you do have an idea or take on something, e.g., a public sensation, public scene, celebrity commotion, news-worthy stuff, etc., it is advisable to see a additional number of few other’s documentaries or contents dealing with same topic, e.g., watch few videos discussing on the same topic, or read a few from varying sources. That Purpose of which will give you broader perspective about what you are will be writing about, especially in non-in-depth documentary contents one source may not be aware or disclosing an angle, perspective or information that another may know information about. At least before you will be writing your piece you are already oriented on what others are saying about a subject-matter of interest, even find discover misconception that others may have of the subject albeit pessimistic.
An example of this process would be having perspective in something like what a businessperson or consensus of businesspeople (more broader with contrast of mom-and-pop businesses and big enterprises) are saying about leadership or criticism if they have some for example, as compared to workers’ point of view or from a particular socio-economic class, industry, demographic or, even, of level of intelligence.
I advise that in cases when incoming source of inspiration that provide nnnn seems to be lacking, to get ideas what to write, very critical would be to read a technical book (especially those that's are philosophical, perhaps) and along the way eventually you may have insights, realizations or something to say about it and from there you can write something, especially that reading stimulates mental activity. This effect would yield especially when one has been spending long time reading at in a sitting, as, like in topic of this section, reading is an act or habit that is allied to curiosity.
MAKING THE SOURCE DOCUMENT
But of course the real practical progress of advancing in each work whatever the topic may be comes upon actually sitting down to work on it and to start writing down—in the strict sense may be more appropriately termed as recording, perhaps, to indicate the purpose—everything that you want expressed in your work. The thing with doing that is you wanna capture into literal literary documentation all your takes and ideas, preferably structured accordingly to concept one has come up with if a creator does have some concept how to develop a specific article.
This isn’t the part stage in the writing process where you are directly going to publish it so just write everything down as well as ideas that occur to you at that moment; better if you insert it an idea in between or on where it will be most appropriate to associate to in the whole composition for properly developing points and arguments, etc. in the contents. Just gather everything you’d need to be associated or is related to what you are writing into an initial body of writing for this will make it easier for you later to edit, rearrange, compress your work to a final draft for release.
Included in what ideas you need recorded as an initial, freestyle literature are those good enough information, notions, expressions, etc. for supporting notions to your work but you suddenly thought of a better way to phrase it or you have in mind omitting or trimming those out after all. Simply put those to be omitted and/or revised with a breakthrough in the source document so you’d have the convenience to just easily skim what to delete in a release duplicate for a final draft copy.
Why to include even these is for purposes of documentation; it’s a good practice to make documentations of developments of your work that will be indicated in words and phrases that are marked with a breakthrough as you pull from stock knowledge, insights and experience, etc. the most appropriate terms and phrases and way of putting your ideas. In fact, many a lot of best-seller novels have such backgrounds we may call that are substance but omitted into published book. That’s part of every great publication of what’s hidden in the inner folds and makes what you see as writing draft openly published but means greater than what volume and collection of words are literally in such books in circulation.
Moreover, another purpose of recording even your initial thoughts what to write may perhaps lead to another story for another day when gathered—may serve to give supporting fragments for cumulatively nnnn one another. You can never tell if eventually those parts that you omitted but still recorded are nevertheless substantial enough for making a starter idea or concept for a next writing, or open up a subset of topics that may need broadening of discussion on.
OPTIONAL COLOR-CODING FOR REFERENCE TO BATCH OF EDITING
As an optionally applicable method to consider is color-coded highlighting text that you added in your second draft so that you have that as indication when have you inserted that part. Do it on the spot while you’re editing as it will save time when returning to edit your draft at a later time, with convenience in the ease of not having to do it later only to eat time getting into momentum to recall where have been those later developments in your last editing.
As an optional nnnn color-coded highlighting will also serve as visual indication of when one has edited or inserted a fragment or phrase into the procedural, multiple editing process that a final workable open draft may be produced from. But most handy of all is highlighting text with emphasized formatting like italicized word or phrases, or peculiar or distinguished parts or phrases in a whole article or for other purposes, for convenience of easily spotting such fragments later.
PUTTING THE COGNITIVE DYNAMO TO WORK
Needless to say, All this set of processes reflect the sacrifices of a writer. How you would do so takes some form of discipline to complete: yes, you’d you do need practice as other publications often preach, then you’re on your own next. But what secret they won’t tell you is the technique that many noble book writers do: writing everything in one sitting, that is, doing a whole writing’s draft in weeks straight and all hours throughout the day spent at being onboard the undertaking (even into problematic stretches like sacrificing sleep) so as to finish a manuscript. By that at least you have a workable manuscript that will be of convenience to produce a final draft for publication from, or submitted forwarded to a publisher for comments, improvements, adjustments to compensate for problems anticipated or seen spotted.
That is so much sacrifice just to be a committed writer. Doing your draft in a stretch of one sitting or in just a few days or weeks only doing it straight to finishing a whole landmark in progress will hold you back from socializing, going with your friends, events, etc. There are a lot of misconceptions related to being a writer. Contrasting are of publishers’ work; to be one you’d need to read an entire manuscript in just a few sittings or you won’t get anywhere. That’s the reality of how it’s really done. Many people think that reading throughout all hours in a whole day or few is a bad thing, maybe from negative beliefs about what reading too much does to one’s mind or thinking, unrealistic superstitious fears diametrically opposite what spending lengthy amount of time reading does to a person.
Get yourself used to lesser social media when unnecessarily problematic to one’s focus especially significant for productivity purposes. Being at peak of the creative process is scarce to obtain or come by, especially in a world of distractions. Once the creative process starts but interrupted a lot of times it’s difficult to get back to. So it is advisable to avoid interruptions (of certain lapse of time) once oneself is at peak of being up the creative process, persevere continuance of being onboard it. This has same underlying psychology as with taking time to focus gaining perspective about a topic by watching videos, listening to podcasts or reading articles or resources dealing with topic or subject-matter of interest back-to-back to eventually come up with ideas related to, or occur or see a different or contrasting aspect or angle compounding in support of one’s idea or position to topic of focus. One’s mind thus operates on in an active thinking process with extra effort of focus on subject than when something one needs to take time to think about is on subconscious process only, likelihood will be such will be rarely to occur vividly or as regard solution thereof flashing in one’s mind.
When writing in what above I can refer to as “just write everything into recorded initial literature,” treat writing each new concept in along the flow of your writing as if they’re their own independent article albeit part of a whole piece and this is especially so that those who maybe jumping to read forward to the middle of your article may be not be lost despite not following through how you developed your points.
More importantly at least for the initial draft, having in mind writing each part sort of like between being not the business of other parts or pointers in the same contents as a unit in relation to focus segment while at the same time crafted partially being related thereto, that is, being such diametric opposites at the same time—for example via referencing other parts or ideas in the article will lighten the burden of inhibiting oneself because of having to heavily consider relating a part to ideas or representations on other parts of the document. But especially still making sure that in the first place inserting or placing a point in between parts where it will be most appropriate for constructive development of the points and between where it’s most associated the most to adjacent points or ideas around would be fundamentally doing developmental arrangement to the whole writing.) The cognitive load of contemplative writing that way for just the initial draft may slow down progress of recording everything that you may include into a topic’s precursor draft. And that does occur during a writer’s undertaking to gather cognitive nnn with the barrier from continuing because one hasn’t incorporated curating a part to adjacent ideas.
Later in editing the precursor can you dedicate time to edit the draft or manuscript to yield a more natural flow of idea development in the contents when in parts where such characteristics are still short on being applying applied. If you heavily consider that during recording process of all ideas you may want to include to make the precursor draft, it may be burden to smoothly writing down want you want to consider including in your writing which is the priority thing to do at this stage in the writing process; it’s a good practice to record your ideas what to include while inspiration thereof is still fresh in your mind. (the sooner, the better) Checks-and-balances to instill other proper literary characteristics of into your writing would be appropriate to heavily focus on after gathering everything you may offer into written work with the exception that you may choose to do so whenever remembering what your ideas are is time or moment you have difficulty recalling so that as you're doing so such thoughts may occur to you again.
Similar to what may happen perhaps when one is that honest to oneself that yourself now in certain occurrences of seeing what some decisions of your past self as naive: When you got your first precursor draft complete, to make sure your writing’s perspective will be suitable to more people with varying states of mind, it is advisable that you do not re-draft your precursor draft immediately but make sure to include as much thoughts you have to say about the topic of the content and new ideas while they’re still fresh in your mind.
Edit your precursor when you’re in a different state of mind than exactly when you’re writing about the topic. You may, for example, move to another article first or read something or go do some other important errands, chores, whereabouts first, or after some days you should be having convenience in time to attend to it again if you’re quite busy. This will make sure that when you’re producing a draft more suitable for release, you’re editing will be closest to as if another person with a contrasting perspective or state of mind is making checks-and-balances at what may be approved in the views of more people and not just the very same state of mind in the exact moment as you have while writing; this will be the closest thing someone working solo on a draft can have next to having an editor or publisher to do the task of constructively scrutinizing your work for you. Some lapse of time on purpose before editing will be a safeguard from cynical fanaticism or auto-narcissism towards viewing competence, greatness, etc. of one’s own writings that may arise from just mere excitement of showing out to the world one’s created content.
OVERCOMING THE WRITER’S BLOCK
Sometimes words may not seem to flow or come out when one is in what’s called a writer’s block. This is especially true with occasions where the topic involves too abstract sets or subsets of principles that are broad, or of relationships, for that requires an extra effort of one’s cognitive capabilities to comprehend things similarly inherent, abstractly uniform among a broad spectrum of objects, entities or intangible things like principles, ideas, concepts; seeing clearly or vividly such occurrence of abstract similarities is hardest the first time.
To circumvent this intellectual crisis in the writing process crisis, previous to time when you’d write down a topic you have difficulty composing, have in mind being contemplative deep about topic you’d write about as you do other things previous to when you’d take time to focus on practically progressing your work.
What will also make it easy to write is do not overstress curating your contents around a given title, just write like a post on social media where you don’t have to think much about the title and you will find ease with continuously coming up with words to put into your, abstractly, post.
Having these things in mind will relieve a writer from cognitive barriers that slow down, even halt, continuance of drafting a manuscript up to workably finished for release; beyond that will of course be editions that are improvements, adjustments or nnnn to version published and in record of source.
It’s a sad truth that people only find something to read where they can use something they came for in reading in the first place. But work that educates on ethical morals are neglected because people aren’t concerned or interested in moral standards.
Reading nowadays has been a cynical process of nnnnn so that oneself may take something one can take or salvage from the writing to boast about, including those who’se only about mediocrity and want secrets how to enter competition where what they only want is doing business especially with recent campaigns on treating a writer’s writing as a business.
That’s the reason why it is known that structure of a written work when extraordinarily unique doesn’t get appreciation for the talent it will take to create such an exceptional structure. This is because people don’t care about how you structure it but only there straight to what information they only came there for to salvage or scrapw from your’s and others because they’re the ones who want credits for the sake of mediocrity to earn more why they wanted to know what to can offer them. This is an utterly disgusting culture of narcissism in the internet.
Amidst struggles and challenges naturally faced by a Person With Disability, being victorious over the social barriers that bar such individual from succeeding in a desired field and become successful in having a writing career may take long.
These are my personal techniques in writing that had developed over time, and that I want my fellow PWDs to be empowered with as an adopted methodology in competing in the writing industry, techniques that many other writers do not disclose, even unaware about.
Please share this resource to other fellow members in the PWD sector, and bookmark this page (on browser you [personally] use) as with the PWD Editors Portal.
Significantly having more PWDs engaged in the writing endeavor of many different interests and fields, and as a source of living as well, while including some advocacy for PWD welfare and interest (subtly, partially or every now and then whenever including such won’t seem inappropriate, nor too far associated to the topic or [associated] ideas adjacent to or surrounding a disability advocacy in the discussion, nor nnn; and do hope that, due to fact that majority, if not most, of experiences shared by members of the community are naturally quite negative or dramatic in nature, that our advocacy be never associated to or sen or perceived or having implications of notoriety, ever), but is still a very much unchartered region of mundane life in the PWD sector which will provide improvement of life-circumstances of members of and prominence to the whole PWD sector until and beyond point when such improvements cannot anymore be undone.
And do hope that we each be successful in this which us underserved part of humanity needs more meaningful role and participation in.
